BSA would like to thank our 2024 sponsors for their continue support of our boxing community and sponsorship, it has been greatly appreciated.  2024 was a fantastic year for SA Boxing with many great achievements. 

 

Boxing SA athletes had an impressive year.  The improvement and depth in our State is just increasing every year and it’s very exciting to see especially with the SA athletes getting opportunities at National level to compete overseas and attend National training camps. 

 

BSA has 2 Australian Champions, 9 Silver medallists in 2024.      Callum Peters competed at the Olympic Games in Paris in July and had a great performance.

 

Some highlights were BSA hosting in Adelaide the Club Championships and Australia Master Championships in which we had international clubs in attendance and had two rings in action for the first time, SA v NSW and SA v WA.    BSA will be hosting the Australian Club Championships again in 2025 and it’s growing every year, with some more international teams coming to Adelaide.  

 

2025 is going to be an extremely busy year and exciting one for the SA boxing community, BSA will be sending teams to Elite selection event for World Championships at the AIS,  Australian Schools Championships in NT, Elite Australian Championships, SA v NT in Darwin and multiple athletes and coaches to camps at the AIS.
