Level 1 coaches course 2016
Boxing SA has scheduled a 'New Level One Boxing Coach' accreditation course for Saturday 23th and Sunday 24th April 2016.
We are combining the refresher course with this one as we have Wayne Rose available to answer questions for everyone.
Some of you have already organised your police clearance. If you have not then you will need to do this asap.
We are also running a Referee and Judges refresher and introduction course on the 6th Feb at the boxing SA office as well. If you know anyone interested in becoming an R&J please pass on my number.
Below is the information you need. People doing the refresher course just need to complete the registration for and obtain a police clearance, plus pay the deposit.

Level 1 New Coach (not affiliated with a club registered with Boxing SA) $400
A Non-refundable $20 deposit must be paid to register your name for the course.
I cannot order your pack unless this is paid. Once you have paid your deposit (or the full amount) please advise me of your shirt size.

Online Courses
You must complete the online pre-requisite courses, Community Coaching General Principles and PBTR – Child Protection, you can access the online courses for free at;

You will need to register with the AIS to get access to the site.
*** Remember to download your Certificates of Completion after you finish the Courses.
REMEMBER BEFORE YOU CAN ATTEND THE LEVEL 1 COURSE
YOU MUST COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING THINGS:
- provide a copy of the Community Coaching General Principals and PBTR – Child Protection course completion certificates to us prior to the course.
- have a current police check completed, plus a photo copy of 100 points of ID, this needs to be done asap to ensure it is through before the 6th September.
- fill in your registration forms (attached)
- make payment via EFT or make arrangements with me to pay on the day.
**All the forms you require are attached to this email. I have also attached a registration form for those who which to register as a coach straight away.
What you need to bring -
Receipt number for EFT payment's (preferred option) or cash Course Registration form Current police clearance (if you don't have one you can download a form from the SAPOL website. Fill it in and post or email it to me asap, I will forward it onto Ally Goodes (Boxing SA President) to sign it and lodge it for you, it wont cost you anything this way as it will come under a volunteer status. Send along with it a photocopy of your 100 points of ID. Print out of your online Pre-requisite certificates (you can email these to me before the day and I can print it out for you if you can't).
