2022 BSA Categories

Please find below information regarding categories and weight categories for 2022.  

Novice - 0-5 bouts

Intermediate - 6-10 bouts

Open - 10 bouts plus

As per the competition rules:

U15 - boxers born in the years 2010, 2009, 2008

Junior - boxers born in the years 2007, 2006

Youth - boxers born in the years 2005, 2004

Elite - boxers born in the years 2003 to 1982

Masters - boxers born in the years 1981 and earlier.

Elite Male, Youth Male and Masters Male Weight categories

46-48kg, 48-51kg, 51-54kg, 54-57kg, 57-60kg, 60-63.5kg, 63.5-67kg, 67-71kg, 71- 75kg, 75-80kg,  80-86kg,  86- 92kg, 92+kg

Elite Female, Youth Female and Masters FEMALE weight categories

45-48kg, 48-50kg ,50- 52kg , 52- 54kg, 54-57kg, 57-60kg, 60-63kg, 63-66kg, 66-70kg, 70-75kg, 75-81kg, 81+kg

Junior & U15 weight categories:

22kg to 54kg are in 2kg increments

54-57kg ,57-60kg ,60-63kg ,63-66 kg,66-70 kg ,70-75 kg ,75-80 kg, 80+kg
